About Us

Our company is built on Safety, Quality, and Teamwork.

InSite Telecom takes pride in delivering industry leading technical expertise and outstanding service, while operating with the highest standards for safety and quality. Teamwork is the key to achieving these high standards, with our professionals collaborating to execute jobs efficiently, learn new skills, and ensure work is performed safely and correctly the first time. We take pride in helping our teammates grow the skills, take on greater responsibilities and push their career to the next level.

Our History

InSite was founded in 2003 by company president, John Reider, with a mission to deliver safe, honest, and competent services to the telecom industry. Along with his co-founder he set out to hire, develop, and retain the best technical professionals in the industry, which in-turn allowed the company to build a reputation for quality and timely service. Over the next two decades the company was able to partner with the industry’s leading carriers, tower operators, turf vendors, and utilities to build better networks that met the evolving needs of the digital ecosystem.

In 2021, InSite partnered with Ranch Creek Partners and True West Capital Partners to expand operations and invest in further growth with a mission to grow the company into the market leader for telecom services in the Western United States. Tom Prestwood joined the company as CEO and InSite expanded into the Northern California market. In 2021 InSite also acquired Nautical Communications, led by industry veteran Blake Miracle, to expand into the Arizona market. In 2023 the company acquired Walker Cellular to solidify its leadership in the Northern California market. Looking ahead InSite expects to continue to expand throughout the Western United States by developing and deploying its own team of experts and by partnering with industry leading contractors throughout the region.
